RECO REG 20 MAY 13
In accordance with the instructions contained
in your despalph No.18, of the 14th. inst., and
with reference to the Secretary of State's despatch
to you No.24 ( 10,013/12 ) of the 10th. ult.,
( returned herewith ) I have the honour to report
that Mr. J. W. Hambleton has not yet filed any claim
in this Consulate-General for losses suffered by him
in the robbery which took place at his residence at
Partal, Chihuahua, on February 12, 1912. It may be
that he did file a olado with the Vice-Consul at
Chihaahua, but, evạn so, kr, Boobell would have had
to send the claim to me for registration in accordance
with the instructions of His yajesty's Principal
Secretary of state, and, in view of the present
dislocation of Mail opamunication with Chihuahus,
I would advise that gr. Kaublaton sand his claim
direct
